I lived in a 3 bedroom apartment for a year and my roomates and I were so happy when our lease was finally up. We had SO many propblems and it wook numerous calls to get anything repaired. Here is a list of some of the things that happened in the longest year of our lives:

1. All the closet rods broke and we had to go purchase our own because maintenance refused to help.
2. The toilet in the hall bathroom ran constantly and we told maintenance about it and ended up paying a friend to fix it so that it would stop.
3. We specifically requested an apartment away from anyone elderly and children. What did we get' An elderly couple downstairs and the playground DIRECTLY outside out patio!
4. We had a problem with mice 4 times while we were there. Maintenance would bring traps but never come check them, the pest control company that they employ were no better. Maintenance came in a stuck steel wool under all of our appliances and this was their was of fixing the problem.
5. Our garbage disposal was replaced twice because they use cheap parts.
6. The door to the laundry room fell of 4 times and they finally replaced it with a folding door that was about 10 inches too shorts.
7. Our sliding glass doors were a joke! We had to put all of our weight on the door and it would slide just enough to let us out.
8. Our air conditioning unit had a terrible leak and maintenance came in 5 times to look at it and all they ever did was put buckets in the closet to catch the water. The carpet got moldy in front of the closet and the office staff wanted to charge us to get the carpet cleaned.
