Where do I begin ' (1) Had gas smell in apartment from the time we moved in. Each time reported to maintence, they would come and investigate and find nothing. Georgia Power came out and couldn't find anything. Then we were told that it might be aleak from the upstairs neighbor. Never did find out where the problem was. (2.) Dishwasher kept leaking. First time maintence came, I was told it leaked because I was using liquid soap and should use powder instead. Switched to powder and still leaked. Found out that a line had broke. Problem solved with brand new dishwasher...right out of the box. (3.) Stray cats......they hang around and want to be fed. Called the office and we were told to trap the cat(s) and take them to the office. (4.) Walls are paper thin. One more than one occasion we could here our upstairs neighbors getting extremely romantic (both verbal and noise).
(5.) Felt like we were the minority. More ------ live there than whites. (6.) When you are ready to move, be aware.....60 days written notice and you will recieve your security deposit in the mail 2-3 weeks after you move out. (7.) Drug deals go on in the buildings and tenants smoke pot with kids playing right in front of them. (8.) Had personal property stolen off of our vehicles and off of our patio ( more than once ). (9.) When the buld burns out in the alcove...it takes a while for the buld to be replaced and you don't feel safe. (10.) Bugs are a problem. Spraying is not done unless you call the office and tell them that you have bugs.
