for an apartment, it's not that bad...

I moved into The Greens in October and I don't suppose it's a terrible place to be. I had to move into an apartment last minute and I am not one to enjoy living in apartments, so I am already looking for the bad. But the initial paperwork and all went very smoothly. We were moved in in no time and were approved in a timely manner. The actual apartment wasn't as nice as the model, but it's not terrible because we got one of the newer renovated ones. The problem I have is with the trash! And that's not the company's fault! It's the people! Pick up after yourselves!! I have found broken glass like crazy. For a little while we had a problem with people leaving beer bottles in the parking lot, but that hasn't been recently. Other issues is with people and pets...if you are going to have a dog, don't trap the poor thing on the teeny balcony 24/7. Again, not the apartments' fault. The actual place has been fine, though. They work on the water a lot and don't tell you about it, which is a pain. I guess if you have to live in an apartment, it's a convenient location and not terrible. I have a 2 Bd, 1 Bth, w/vanity and washer/dryer hookups. I was pleasantly surprised that I have an actual laundry room, not just hookups in a hallway. very convenient.
I also need to clarify some of my ratings, as there aren't appropriate choices available:
parking...sometimes a problem. we aren't limited to one car, but it's sometimes difficult. it depends on the location of your building and the time of day. my biggest problem is folks taking up two spaces.
noise: only an issue on weekends, but never really crazy late. if anything, you can just hear the bass of music
staff: staff is very friendly, but not very knowledgeable. they seem very nice in person and on the phone, but things don't always get taken care of as promised.
