Now known as The Traditions at Augusta I moved in out of desperation after a divorce. I was never shown the aparment I signed for (I know better when I move in February.) At first sight the apartment was alright. Then after a week you realize the "remodel" was just a coat of paint (not fixing any holes or imperfections), some new carpet and tile, and new appliances. They start out with great move-in specials, then as soon as your lease is up they bump the price up. You can never get maintenance to come and fix anything; the office staff is constantly changing; the neighbors don't have respect for anyone else; there is a gate that has been installed and hasn't closed at all yet (it was supposed to be operational in February 2006). Then there are the holes leading into the community as a result of the never-ending construction. Getting in and out of the apartments is hard enough, now you have to contend with the holes. The biggest problem I have with this community is there failure to honor military clauses. A neighbor is about to be deployed and told he would have to pay $1500 for breaking his lease. When I first moved here (1998) I lived in Governors Place apartments - their 3 bedrooms were only $630. You can get more for less in Augusta and my 2 kids and myself will be moving to a nicer community in February. I would recommend you not waste your time even looking at these apartments. The model is not a true representation of the community.

Man, you people are crazy! What else is a remodel besides paint, carpet, tile, and new appliances??? My friend and me are sitting here laughing at you all!!!
