This apartment complex has had TWO fires burn down their buildings in the past 13 or 14 months.

That should tell you something. I have since moved to a BEAUTIFUL home with 3 bed 2 bath in a lovely neighborhood and a yard and I am only paying about $70 more per month than I spent renting my crappy apartment.

Pros: It's in a good location and the people in the office are typically friendly. Plus they allow pets.
Cons: Lots of trash (although they will send someone around to pick it up if you ask), too expensive, horrible dishwasher.

I suppose it's a decent complex overall... but are you willing to risk your building burning down' Get renters insurance.
