My wife and I lived in Walden Hills for 13 months. We elected to move to Fort Gordon when quarters became available. Walden Hills requires a 2 month advance termination notice and will not honor military orders requiring soldiers to move onbase. Even though they found tenants to rent our apartment immediately after our departure, they elected to charge us rent for the time that the apartment was in routine maintenance before the next tenant moved in. Yet our move out inspection indicated that no maintenance was required and that the apartment was ready for immediate occupancy! They also lied about providing us with rent increase notices. Pulling backdated copies out of their file does not mean that the tenant actually received them. My other gripe is the noise factor. The apartments may look nice from the outside, but pay a visit to a resident before you decide to rent. The construction is flimsy...very thin walls and floors. If you like a quiet apartment complex, Walden Hills isn't for you.
