Okay-but not worth the price

We moved here sight unseen because of all of your great reviews. What a mistake. Our apartment wasn't cleaned when we moved in (the old tenents nails were still in the wall along with the dirty oven, greasy stove, dead roaches in the cupboards, etc). Told managers about it and they offered to have the cleaners back-but we were in wall-to-wall boxes by then. The place is very old (bring your own microwave). The laundry facility is hot, the machines are small so you need to pay for extra loads at $1.00 each. Our mailbox key didn't work until my husband took a screw driver to it and the lights around the area often don't work. We moved from Minneapolis and expected something a lot nicer. These should rent for $500. The best thing' They have a 30 day 'love-it-or-leave-it policy. We left. For the same price we now rent a beautiful 2 bedroom townhome w/ a clean kitchen (with a built-in microwave and fridge with door water/ice machine), 2 full baths, full size washer & dryer and fenced in backyard--for the same price of $700. Also, Leigh Ann in the office is awesome! Also liked Vicki and the maintenance guy.
