After reading the other reviews, I am a little confused b/c we really enjoyed our time there(06-07). I can understand the other buildings (near the woods and street) complaining but the 1800 building was PERFECT location. Our apartment faced the pond on the ground floor and we never had noise, animal, snake problems. Also all of our maintenance problems were answered within 24 hours. The bathrooms/kitchen were immaculate. The park area was great for my 2 yr old son. We were out there everyday.
The obvious problem is that the places are small but you know that going in. The other downside is the laundry facility...dirty and broken explains it all. Another positive is that you have a couple days to get rent in. Not everyone gets paid on the 1st of the month and they are understanding.
