I can't wait for my lease to be up [July 12, 2009]! This place is ridicoulous.
The outside appearance is great and so are my neighbors.
Everything said about the leasing office agents are true except for [Marie Copeland].
She was the only person I can work with.
She leased me a 3 bedroom and she is believable as opposed to everyone else in the office who has lied to get extra money from me.
I have had to call corporate office on everyone else including the office manager and been given discounts off of my rent because of it.
Neighbors are nice and thoughtful except for the people upstairs.
I called the cops on them several times because of noise.
Usually between 11pm and 7am.
Or i would resort to standing on my kitchen counter and banging on the ceiling with my broom.
They literally made noise so loud if I or my roommates were on the phone people would ask if we were having a party or guests over.
This is where the "security guard" is supposed to intervene! Surprise, surprise he tried to give us a "warning" for overcomplaining!
People use the parking lot as thier mechanics heaven.
Children are allowed to run around day and night.
Most without supervision Besides my builiding where are the parents stand outside and converse with each other while the kids play around.parents or at least adult high been invisible.
And it's a shame when the maintenence people are more respectful of your well being.
They have fixed everything I needed, one time it took a week and that was because the office personel "forget" to give them a work order.
The area is well manicured.
Lawn care comes every tuesday.
If you can deal with the haphazards of the leasing office then it would be ok.

May i ask how long have you lived at Alta Mill? I am looking at moving there but your post makes me concerned.

I moved in this apartment last year and moving out next week. if you move in I would recommend only dealing with Marie Copeland because several other resdidents can tell you she is the only one with your best interest at heart.

Unfortunately [Marie] is merely a puppet and can only do so much. She is a Leasing Agent, not a manager; therefore, she cannot make any type of managerial decisions. Being nice, and $2.00 will get you a cup of coffee, it doesn't make your living experience worth the hassle of dealing with poor management...in any complex.

Marie is a liar! She keeps telling people the police ripped out our peep hole when really it was the people that are doing all the break ins. The week before someone robbed our neighbor, then the next week our peep hole is gone?! Our dogs saved us from being robbed. Then all the management could do was complain on our pets. See y'all in court!
