The reason we picked this apartment was b/c it was a perfect roommate setup. Two bedrooms about equal in size with a full bathroom in each room. The apartment was also new which made it look very nice, but once we lived there for a while, it was plain to see not the best made. The walls were very thin and didnt take much to put a hole in one so it cost to do some repairs before we left or there goes our security deposit. Also there were some problems in the neighborhood, but no one was ever informed of what was going on. I know that the Rosewood Apt Complex was right next to us and older teenagers either that lived at Brookstone or Rosewood would be running around all hours of the night. They would be smoking marijuana in the playground or drinking on the benches outside. Also one night someone ran into another car going around the circle. This was a concern all the time b/c you were not able to see around the corner and people were always speeding. I believe they need speedbumps in there. The gates were often a problem b/c people having to call to get in have to use the same gate as people with cards. Sometimes people would just tailgate you in. Management for the mostpart were very rude. I suggest if you do have to speak with someone ask for Maureen (I think she is gone though) or Jason (he is new, but a lot nicer than Julia) For the most part Brookstone is a nice place to live as long as you have nice neighbors and an apt that doesnt have problems. If you get stuck in one that needs some maintenace work or near some rowdy people, you probably wont want to stay there too long.
