F.Y.I. If you have to commute up & down the East-West Connector during rush hour, I hope you're creative. The traffic is horrendous.

I lived at Century Brooke, formerly BOTG, from 01/06 - 01/07. I was in a 2 bdrm, roomate floorplan, with sunroom, fireplace & terrace, paying $775/mo. That special was a once-in-lifetime deal, at the time they were basically giving the apts away. Now, it's being rented for $870, and I don't know if that includes terrace & fireplace.

My overall experience was satisfactory. My maintenance requests were usually handled within 24-48 hours. The gates were broken a couple of times throughout the year, but fixed in a day or two, the longest it was broken was about a week. Parking near my building (3), was an issue late at night, I sometimes had to park a building away. While I was there, I saw maybe 3 huge cockroaches outside, 2 smaller ones in my apt, but they were already dead. I had a huge ant problem that began in the summer and was still somewhat of an issue when i moved out 2 weeks ago.

At least once a week you could count on seeing the police, a fire truck, or ambulance usually at night, I don't know why. Some new cosmetic renovations have been made, I think it was meant to boost morale of the tenants during the transition. So be prepared to see the cost of that reflected in the price of your apt.

I don't have children, and would have preferred a less "family-friendly" community. There is a very diverse mix of tenants, that was important to me.
