Lake Crossing

 

I have never in my life lived in such a disatrous environment in my entire life! One day I was in the living room folding clothes and all of a sudden...I hear something chirkling...and it ran from behind the blinds...at first I thought I was tripping but when I saw the blinds move...I knew it was a rat...so I freaked out of course leaped as far as I could to the bedroom to my husband screeeaming...(I was 6 months preggos) so he came out of the room and inspected it and looked at me like i was freaking crazy! But I knew I heard something...so we went to check our garbage can and sure enough...lo and behold...there were holes everywhere!!!! Unfortunately there was a hole behind our washing machine which was where they were coming in from..

I was so stressed out from this situation that I had to have my baby way earlier then expected...

To make a long story short...there were 4 rats caught in all...and everytime I called the rent office the manager would act like there were 100 tenants calling in about the same situation because she forgot who I was and what apartment number I was calling about...but anyways...we moved to another building and now we have roaches! There are rats EVERYWHERE at the apt.

garbage disposal...and I mean MILLIONS OF THEM! There are spider-webs everywhere in and on the breezeways, between the staircases...everywhere...our toilet is broken and has been for the past month in a half...I gave up...so we are just using the working one...when we first came here to look at the apartments...a tenant in front of Management begged us not to move here because his house had been broken into...which they have sent out about 5 notices 5 different times to beware of burglars...and not to mention that the dummies didnt change out our locks before we moved in and a unknown man just abruptly walked into our apartment...if my husband wasnt there...theres no telling what would have happened...we WILL not be signing another lease with this hell hole...we might as well have applied for the projects! Also the kids are bad as hell...and they run up and the down the stairs all day long...thank God school is now back in! This is certainly not the type of environment my son is going to grow up in...this is a wanna be thugged out ghetto community...with people hanging outside when you leave for work in the morning and still in the same spot when you return!
