Tramore Village

I moved into Tramore Village back in March 2009. In the same year as my lease, my apartment was broken into and management did nothing about it. I had to beg them to place me into another apartment by advising them I would break my lease if they did not place me in a third level apartment. They finally agreed to transfer my lease and low and behold not even 2 months later; my new apartment had been almost broken into. The door frame was ruined and the door was pressed in by this last attempted break in. I called the office and reported the break in but guess what, they never called me back. Two days ago, I go to check my mail and someone had broken into my mailbox and took the whole lock off the mailbox (I have pictures to prove it). The apartments are really nice except for management acts like they don t care when they get a maintenance request. It s supposed to be a gated community but the gate is always broken, either the arm comes down but the gate never closes or the gate is closed but the arm is stuck in the upright position, leaving it very accessible to get into the apartments. I have several family members that live here and they regret the move, they have mold in their apartment and each time they report the issue management sends them in with a washcloth and bleach. Yeah right like that is going to solve the mold that s growing in the walls and re-occurring over and over again. The price for the apartment is reasonable but if I have to fear for my safety and someone breaking into my apartment, I will pay a higher priced rent in a different community. When my lease is up in March 2010, I can almost guarantee that Tramore Village will NOT be where I call home. Beware, management sucks!
