I am moving when my lease is out. I got a letter saying my rent is going up to $800.00 a month if I renew, that's almost a $300.00 rent increase. I have been here four years, never once have I been late on rent, not once. Why is my rent suddenly being jacked up' I looked on line for all of 10 minutes and found several places much cheaper. I pointed this out to the office manager and told her that with as bad as this place is to live no one with a firing brain cell is going to pay that much to live here when they can, with 10 minutes of looking, find something much better. She was more concerned with telling me not to lean on the arm of her couch than with how hard is was going to be for me to cope with such a high rent increase. The office manager is the rudest, meanest, uncaring person I have ever had to deal with and that's saying a lot. I work at a pizza place, I have to deal with petty rude people all day, Sandy has them all beat, and her boss, Nancy Sprott, isn't any better. From what I hear they treat most of the tenets that way. Where I work you don't get to treat people that way, even if they deserve it, and I don't think I did. I was trying to get a problem solved, not make trouble. I was very courteous. I told her I would have to move if they raised my rent that much, I just plain don't have that much money, and she told me to do it then, get off her couch, and stop wasting her time. I don't want to go through the head ache of moving but they are forcing me to, someone who has paid they're rent on time for 4 years. Yeah, they really care. By the way, the gates never work and are a constant head ache, I had something stolen out of my mailbox and the apartments said the post office was liable, the post office said it was the apartments so I didn't get the issue resolved, there is mold everywhere, roaches everywhere, my upstairs neighbors are loud and nasty, they come through here with a leaf blower at 7 am when you're trying to sleep (if you have a third shift job that's not good), it's dark, no outside lighting and unsafe. I hate it here.

I have also had an increase but if you have really looked around you will find that you can't find a better palce to live for the $$$, they have always been attentive to my needs, I have lived at several of the other communities in the area and by far Treeterrcae is the best. Besides its not the communities fault that you work 3rd shift. Working in the pizza industry you do not have to deal with problems oh yeah maybe they got thin crust and not thick so what.

Your a lying member of the staff, or you're stupid, or both. If you say they were nice to you you are either lying or to much of an idiot to know when someone is being a jerk to you. They were horrible to me, and saying 800.00$ is market rent for a roach filled, mold filled two bedroom is just plain not true, do 5 minutes of research (if you know how) and you will see this. They are lying, inconsiderate, rude, intolerable jerks at Tree Terrace.

I was just reading the responses on this post and the 1st one by tulipblue is infuriating. Do you realize, tulipblue, that Pizza drivers get robbed, attack, mugged, kidnapped and raped? That pizza stores get robbed and people get hurt? That they deal with rude awful mean spirited people one after the other all day? Are you really so misinformed that you can't know it's a really rough and dangerous job? Obviously you've never worked in pizza but common sense should tell you it's not that easy. You wouldn't like it if someone who didn't know what they were talking about tried to tell you they knew more about your job than you do, especially if they were as wrong as you are about pizza workers. Do yourself a favor and don't talk about things you don't know about.
