If you are new to the area and looking for a good, safe place to live then Sandia is your place. I lived at Sandia for 3.5 yrs and NEVER once had a problem with my car being broken into. The Manager and the maint. man are great. As with any apartment complex, you must be proactive in reporting any problems. The complex is close to all required things i.e major food store, freeways, Robins AFB, local college, and outdoor activities. The rent is good and with a few buck more a nice garage comes along! The complex community is diverse so if that's not your thing then don't go but you will miss out on a good apartment. But remember you are paying for what you get!! A good starter place that's safe, responsive staff, and close to everything. If you have kids, the complex is zoned within a stones' throw of the best elem, middle and high school and that fact can be verified. So if you're new to the area or in need of a good transition place give Sandia a chance, we did and we enjoyed every day.
