I lived at the glens apts for 3 years and just recently moved out when I bought a townhouse. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire stay there. The staff was always very sweet to me, and the apt itself was extremely nice. I have read the previous reviews, and I must say that the people writing them don't seem too intelligent. If you destroy the carpet, expect to pay for it. I took great care of my apt and when I moved out I was refunded my entire deposit. Its common sense that if you destroy something it is your responsibilty to pay for it, in any situation. As far as the gate issue is concerned, they were not working when I first moved in, but about a year ago they were repaired and have been working ever since. The gate is a mechanical device, it is expected that it may be inoperable and in need of repair from time from time. If you are worried about owing money for damages after you move out, do as I did and call the office and ask what you can do to avoid charges upon moving out. This way there are no suprises. The office even has a list that they will provide you. For those of you actively seeking an apt, I highly recommend the glens.
