We thought this place was wonderful...that is until we went to pick up our keys to move in. We didn't get the apartment that we told we were getting (we got one facing the street with lights shining in your room all night instead on one facing the garden). Our apartment had old dirty carpet that was patched up with cut out squares when we told that they were laying new carpet before we moved in. We already had all our stuff packed up and the moving truck was scheduled so we didn't want to back out...big mistake! After we moved in to the wrong apartment they came and laid new carpet (they moved our furniture and boxes all over the place and it made us feel kind of violated). I would like to say after this, things got better but they didn't. The gates don't always work so they leave them open, my roommate's car got broken into (while the gates were broken), kids run wild without parent supervision until after dark (and some like to doodle on cars!), the hot tub didn't work for a year, people enjoy pooping in the sink and on the walls in the fitness center, the management likes to try to charge you for anything they can (ex. patio lights that were mistaken for Christmas lights even though there were up for 12 months before they noticed it was a problem). People in the office are unfriendly, unhelpful and treat you like you are just another apartment number...not a person. I've never lived at an apartment were the staff changed so much! Don't try to talk with the complex manager, she is a complete witch and won't even try to listen to your concern. She took over the complex 5-6 months ago and things have been getting worse since she started there. One last thing...the pools look great but don't plan on laying out by them unless you bring your own chair (there's are all broken) and a squirt gun filled with ice cold water to spray at unsupervised monsters that are running around the pool. Oh yes, and they also use the fitness center as their own personal play area especially while their mother's are tanning. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
