Not awful, but not exactly "luxury" apartments...

Well, after pricing and touring all the properties in the area, and checking out the resident base, we decided Preston Hills was a decent choice, comparatively speaking. Let's go ahead and get the parking is awful obligation out of the way. IT IS. After 9:30 though, not 7 as stated by another reviewer.
They are under new management now, Ledic, as opposed to Mid-America. And so far we have had little problem except for a little leakage in our terrace level unit, and an air conditioner that seriously needs to chill...or unchill actually. It keeps freezing over, and it seems like we make a service call once a week. Now I'm not a penguin or anything. The thermostat stays on 69, which seems like a reasonable climate.
Also, the gates don't work, and when they do work, it seems like they only do so for a couple of days. I was accustomed to not having to carry my access card, and returned one night to find myself locked out. That was awesome.
I can't really think of anything that management has done to improve our living here, other than sending maintenance out rather promptly when we have an issue.
When our term is up, we more than likely won't renew since the prices rose the day after signing our lease, and these really aren't $750-1000/mo apartments much less $850-1100. Maybe a relative will die and I'll be able to put up a down payment on a home. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
