my husband and i moved in jan 04 and was told it was a quiet and brand new complex, the first week we were here, we saw a drug bust and arrest right outside our building, i had never seen that before, there were constants fights, most outside our door. we had a guy try to force his way into our door, there have been rapes, stalkers, drug dealers and the worst staff on the planet. We were placed in the first building aka, the worst building and have had 12 months of hell. The fox 5 news has been here twice with stories of missing children and neglegent mothers. If you need something fixed expect to wait 2 weeks. If mounds of trash gross you out dont even bother. Groups of loud teenagers roam the neighborhood in the evenings causing fights and screaming. The management team has turned over about 4 times in one year. The property manager cannot seem to understand how to do her job, everytime i have gone to speak to her she forgets the last time we talked, its like talking to an infant. Its been ridiculous.it took us two months to give them our notice to vacate, because they kept "losing" the paper work. Our cars were damaged when they paved the parking lots, which they wont pay for, we had numerous nails in our tires. the banks had to cease most of the property back from them. Cars have been broken into and vandalized. If you need to use the unternet, expect to walk in on someone veiwing porn and "taking care" of themselves. Domestic violence is huge here, just call the police dept. and get the records for this place and see for yourself. Dont expect to be treated nice in the office, they do nothing and will patronize you if you bring your concerns for safty up. This is a tax credit property, so they let in ANYONE, and if you have a good job and make good money, you will pay more than most. they base rent on your income, which doesnt seem fair, sice most residents are young delinquients with no jobs. i cannot stress enough how bad this is and i dont want anyone to have to see and go through what we did for the past year. Plus most of the buildings sat open during last winter and spring and most of summer, so expect mold problems!!!!
