I'm revising my previous post IN ORDER to better explain my experience here at the Reserve at Ivy Creek. I'll be honest, my experience here has not been a good one. -IT COULD BE WORSE - but could also be MUCH better! I understand that people have different living standards, and expectations, and because of that, I don't belong here & this is why.
Drug use by the residents is obvious- and they don't try to hide it. There is never a parking place at my building. The gates are always broken, but it's only broken because the residents break it as soon as the complex repairs it. There isn't any security. A dozen eggs was thrown at my friends car a while back... I caught a kid peeing on a tire of a random car in the parking lot... its just frustrating. Sound systems play all hours of the night. In honesty the majority of the residents are lazy. They let their kids run free, they park in the handicap places, and dump a pick up truck load of trash off at the dumpster a one time -this causes the trash build up, and it becomes unmanageable. I was told when I signed my lease that speed bumps were coming soon... but as of now there aren't any. I was promised new carpet by previous management because the carpet I have should have been replaced when I moved in, but it didn't happen. People are always excessively speeding through, A kid got hit by a car the other day - Seriously. If the residents were DIFFERENT it would be a much better place to live. The entire Staff isn't BAD - It's the residents. For an example, I would be afraid to walk a dog around this complex only because of the residents. The pool is clean- the apartments landscape always look nice. When I have ever needed maintenance I've received it in a timely manner. Its not all bad, it's just the community. I hope this explains my experience that I have encountered.
