I lived here during all the hurricanes in 2004 and the apt had water coming in 3 times. Carpet got soaked, ceilings leaked (on the main floor too, figure that out)water seeped in under the stove, and no one came to check for any electrical shorts. But they got all the water out of the carpet a couple days after the flooding but the carpet was a nasty brown and stayed dingy and they never replaced it...then they accused me of lying about the ceiling leaking. Guess the big water stain wasn't good enough evididence. Neighbors are loud as anything, and if you want the office to do something about it, it's gonna take a couple of months.
Had serious water issues on the path to the building too. Everytime there was any rain there would be a mud puddle about 4-6" deep that you had to attept to walk around. Wouldn't be that hard except for the fact it was roughly 10'x20' and took up the entire path. Maintenance did nothing to take care of that issue.
The office will charge you as much as they possibly can for a unit, then charge your neighbors $100 less for the same unit....hope you can haggle REALLY well.
