To the previous person who wrote that Summer Park apartments are occupied by POOR tenants you need to get your self checked out. You have mentioned that you are a single mother and that as soon as your lease expires you are out of here even if it means bunking with a friend,hmmmm sounds to me like YOU are the poor one and you are taking it out on the rest of the tenants here making them all POOR in your book. Poor people CANNOT afford an apt in the price range of 700-1000. Poor people live in rundown downtown areas,in building or houses with grafitti,and you hear police sirens 24/7. Poor people BUNK with another person in a RUNDOWN area and split the rent. Summer Park,and I repeat,IS NOT occupied by poor tenants. Middle class probably with cars from 1997-2005 I see alot of nice cars outside,in fact I own a BMW. I chose to rent here instead of buying a house because houses are hard to care for and if you need to move somewhere you need to wait and wait until your house is sold. I chose to live in an apt because I love to be around people. I have nice neighbors,in fact across the hall from me lives a doctor. He drives a nice car and he told me he prefers apts better than houses because houses are "too isolated" and he loves to be around people as well. Now you tell me,if this a place for POOR tenants' Has it occured to you that MAYBE the people you see walking around looking like "gangsters" are actually nice people who just love to dress that way or they are visiting' You are judging a book by its cover by saying gangsters live here and you are afraid to leave your child outside. I have a 6 year old cousin visiting me sometime and I take him to the playground even at night,sometimes he goes by himself because my apt window faces the play ground and he was never abducted or hurt in any way. He found alot of friendly children here his age and they all get along great. Maybe its YOU who has her nose stuck in the air to let your child play outside,let the poor child outside to play and don't coop him the house because you are afraid of whats outside. The people who you saw on the cars with bats were probably just visiting. You should have told the front office about it. Sometimes if you see something you take matters into your own hands. My 2 bedroom apt is a beautiful place,great view,I always get assitants to help if something goes wrong in my apt,I feel safe most importantly! The complex is just a few years old and minutes way from Mall Of Georgia. Buford is an new and upcoming place to live. I'll definetly renew my lease in Aug. If you are and nice honest person looking for a great place to live and meet friendly neighbors,Summer Park is for you! For all others who are stuck up and paranoid and hiding their true selves,go SOMEWHERE else.
