I am a resident at this apartment complex. The management here wants to promote their community' If you refer your friends or acquaintances don't expect to get the referral fees they promise you. With a bit of research the property owners would find out the management at this location is funding their own pockets with these generous referral fees. If you have an agreement with the location manager be sure to get it in writing or you will again be lining her pockets with any penalties you pay. If I had not signed an agreement with such loop holes in it that I will be paying through the end of my contract the full market value even if I give the notice I would be living elsewhere at this point. I look forward to the end and I am not expecting to get any of my deposit back I might have a stain on my carpet. Look elsewhere if you want quality for your money. Also, The security gate stays broken most of the time. Also, always use sidewalks. Pet feces in most of the grassy areas.

No one in the office is lining their pockets. We offer all of our residents $$$$ for ANYONE they refer that moves in. I think it is great that the majority of our residents will tell even a strange on the street what a great Community we have if they make $$$$ that is even better for them. Be sure if you refer someone that you make sure they give us YOUR name FIRST. We ask all of our prospects how they heard about us, if they say the sign and not you unfortuantely we have to go with the initial answer to keep things fair. Now that we are done with that lets move on to the next. The lease agreement signed at move in is in black and white, there are no loop holes. I will be more than happy to fulfill YOUR REQUEST to TRANSFER ON SITE at the end of your lease. The reason for the fee during the lease term is to help cover the cost of preparing the home for a new resident and possible vacancy loss. Once again it is NOT lining for our pockets. Next - For residents to receive a money back there has to be a deposit paid in. Next - If you choose not to renew or transfer we do require that you give us written notice that you intend to move 60 days prior to your lease expiring. I will do your walk thru with you so their won't be any suprises. Last but not least - The gates are working and I have a full time associate who takes care of our grounds. If there is a particular area of concern please call or email us and we will be more than happy to write up a work order and take care of that for you. You have the information.

That is nice that the person preparing the apartments for the new leasee is the mother of one of the office employees and one of the ground keepers is the husband of yet another one of the office employees. And the pockets of the employees may not be lined but we all know that their family and friends are profiting well. As for the line listed on the referral was left blank you can bet it was filled in by the person that showed the apartment with someones name that needed that money desprately. I hope if there was such a person at Summer Park that they actually got the money. If I did have complaints they would go as others have stated in other reviews unattended and fall on deaf dumb ears. I have never met anyone in customer service as unwilling to make current customers happy as those at the GREAT SUMMER PARK APARTMENTS. I recommended someone recently in the past week thinking I could use the money for a referral. He failed to rent there because of the incompetent office staff. He is moving in today at Amli. I was very impressed with them also. The office staff at SP should visit there and take a note pad to take notes.
