I moved into apt 1300 about 1 year ago and now im sorry i did. When i first moved in everything was fine...who knew that 1year later i'd only get 3-4 hours a sleep at night'! Every night between the hours of midnight to 8 or 9am there is this CONSTANT and I mean CONSTANT whirring of highway noise! We didnt have this problem 1 year ago but I guess with all the new construction going on 9-85 they cut alot of trees down. Anyways I hear constant traffic going up and down and BAD roaring highway noise. Its worse now in the fall due to the weather being chilly and very transparent. Alot of people from my building have this exact problem but no one has bought it up to the leasing office because Iam pretty sure they'll say there's nothing they can do..AS ALWAYS. It seems to be getting worse and worse and when i open my balcony window ift feels like the damn highway is right in front of me. I tried everyhting to drapes and heavy curtains to earplugs. NOTHING WORKS! I haven't had a decent night's sleep in amost 1 month and I cannot sleep in the daytime because I work 2 jobs.In the daytime it's not that bad because the weather warms up a bit and the air becomes more dense nor can you hear it badly when its raining. You would think that I'd get home and hop into bed and be lulled to sleep by sweet silence instead I have to endure the roaring highway noise. How do they expect people to renew their leases if they don't do anything about the highway noise'Maybe they should come and check the area EVERYNIGHT betwen midnight and morning to see if THEY would want to switch places with us. If you plan on renting here don't. Or at least rent somewhere in the 100-500 complex area. I hear they hear little to no highway noise. Iam VERY curious to see if anyone from this area has the exact problem or if we at 1300 are just going crazy.....
