I've lived at Canton Mill Lofts for the past year, and I have overall enjoyed my stay. The apartments are very affordable for the style it offers (market price for a 2 bdrm loft intown is about 1300 while I pay 650).

Dramatic staff changes have made relating to the leasing office a little difficult at times, but manageable. They are mostly friendly and do what they can (to a certain extent) to assist with problems.

Appliances are mediocre, but again, manageable. I do agree that the walls are thin, and my smoking neighbors are a big problem as well, which has made some days unsatisfactory.

If you have a pet, this place is DEFINATELY for you, as by my observance, at least 80% of the community owns a pet. If you do not own a pet however, it becomes annoying to avoid large pets in the hallways, as well as urine and doggy poop.

If you're looking for value and charachter of your apartment, this would be a good choice. If you're looking for detail in construction and maintentance, it may not be.
