I've lived at the lofts for a year and a half now, and we just signed another 6-month lease. The apartment is so cool, and we really enjoy having all the space. We have a 1400 2br and pay $715/mo. For renewing for 6 months, they gave us 1/2 month's free rent. So we're staying.

Also, since we're on the 3rd floor, we never have to heat our apartment. We do have a few roof leaks, but only when it rains really hard. The construction isn't the best, and when our neighbors smoke, we can smell it in our bedroom. We don't really hear any outside noise, and we're right next to the stairway. Maintenence isn't bad... We haven't had too many problems, but they seem to come out fairly quickly. They did try to fix the roof, but I dont' think it worked since it still leaks.

I would recommend this apartment for someone without children. Since there are really no enclosed spaces, I don't see how people live here with kids!
