At first we thought the Lofts were very practical and a good deal for the price. After spending some time there we thought differently. The noise level is a problem, because you can hear the conversation your neighbors having next door almost better than you can hear yours. The appliances are loud and annoying. A couple of good things we can say, are most of the people that live there are friendly. Claira who works up in the leasing office is the most professional and sweetest lady I've ever dealt with in a leasing office. But the ammenities are nice to have, but woh wants to get in a nasty pool, or work out in a nasty dusty gym. I mean are they not cleaning thisplace like they should' We have heard many complaints of bugs, rats, and other htings. And the one thing that REALLY freaked us out was that we heard the place was haunted and one night me and my husband were sitting on the bed watching television and my cd flew across the room out of no where, and i guess it depends on if you believe in that kind of stuff to make you think it was real or not but i do. So, if ou want a nice place to live i wouldn't go here.

Been here going on four years (ONLY because it's affordable) and I TOTALLY agree with you!!! Glad to say we'll be moving in a few months.

huh at least here you can see the bottom of the pool. i don't mind if i can hear my neighbors so long as they put up with my noise too. the gym is not dusty at least not when i was there yesterday. the cleaning lady works very hard to clean up after all the slobs that do live here. now that would be the only problem here which would be that the people in the leasing office are not psychic to be able to tell when a person is trash or just a problem person. the cd thing happened to me too but i personally found it funny and really cool.

My neighbor who was a fire fighter told me stories about his rolling chair moving around the apartment. It would be in different places when he came home and when he woke up in the morning. He was adamant about it and he was a very no-nonsence type person. There was another guy on the bottom floor who talked about thinking his roommate was there and she ended up not being there but he had talked to someone. I personally had no real issues. I hated the walk from the parking lot to the place whenever it was raining and I had to carry things. But it was not a big deal. I lived on the 2nd floor and I could hear my neighbors having sex and it was like I was in their room! It was soo loud! I was living there by myself with my cat so it was not a big deal. The week I was moving out, mysteriously a pair of my underclothes were found hanging in the bathroom and I never ever hung them up on the handle on my bathroom drawer. I was really embarassed because I thought that someone must have come into the apartment to show it or did work and did not tell me that they came in. The maintenance guy said he did not come in because my dog was barking, but I have no dog, so I have no idea what happened there. The day that I decided to go to the office and tell the manager what happened, the power kept flickering on and off during the little meeting we had. Another lady said that her little boy had an imaginary friend and kept talking to an invisible little boy. Then she said she walked into his room and saw him playing with a little boy in period clothing (as in a child that worked in the mill before child labor laws were in place in early 1900's). Hmmm ...
