I am coming up on the end of my lease and CAN NOT wait to get the hell out of here. I do not know what has happened to this place over the past few months (or maybe I was just blind the first half of the lease), but the tennants they are letting in here SCARE the dickins out of me. The couple living next door to me have FINALLY been evicted after the police coming to break up domestic fights in the halls, loud domestic fights in the middle of the night, allow other residents climbing in and out of their window, and rumors of meth use. My children and I constantly have to dodge dog bombs when coming and going. The maintenance man broke into my apartment to get an item that belonged to me to give to another resident who asked him for it. All of these issues were not only addressed with the leasing office, but also with Aderhold Properties who told me that some "policies have been changed"----yet to see any benefits from that! They allow residents to smoke in their units (but not in the halls'!'!'!). I complained because the smoke would filter into my unit due to the HUGE cracks between the fabricated walls. My son has asthma (which I told them so you would think there would be a sense of urgency to fix it) and had to suffer for TWO MONTHS until they finally caulked the walls.
Take my advice, unless you want to feel like you are screaming in silence for help, DON'T MOVE IN HERE!
