We went today to look at apartments and stopped by the Canton Mill Lofts. The lady in the office asked what we wanted and we told her that we were looking for a one bedroom apartment to move into around the end of this year. She said that's too far away and she couldn't help us. When we tried to just get information or at least look at a unit, she refused to help and told us that we wouldn't be qualified to live there anyway. She went on about having to make less than $34,000 a year and other complete garbage. We told her that we met her "requirements" and she still said that she couldn't help us. I have never been treated so poorly! I'm letting everyone know how awful this place was. And from reading other people's reviews, I'm glad we decided not to look further into getting an apartmet there.

the review below me is a load of bull. my fiancee' and i went to canton lofts today && told the sweet lady in the office that we needed a one bedroom one bathroom apartment. we told her we were not sure when we would be gettin the apartment. it would be between january and the middle of 09. she said that was fine, she understood && took us to 4 different apartment styles. it was amazing. the apartments are great &&& so are the people that work there. i cant wait to get our apartment! && CANTON LOFTS say, on the door before entering, that they are based on income. and they range your rent weither you have one, two, three, or four people in your apartment. but you are not aloud to make more then their aloud rate because it is for the people who dont make much money. Thanks, a very satisfied person =)

I'm glad you had a good experience, but what I wrote is not "a load of bull". I still feel that she was being racist against us. Don't accuse me of lying when you don't know what happened to me. The staff was incredibly rude and offered absolutely no help. Good luck living there.

I don't think it was a racism issue, because my wife and I are caucasian and had the exact same negative experience. I am going to call first and go back at some point hoping to have a more qualified person (the people working the front desk were in their early early 20s and had a very bad attitude) show me around, because I had a friend in the apartments years ago and really liked them.

I went today with my fiancee, we had a very pleasant experience with the woman in the office, her name was Sandy and she took very good care of us. Showed us a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom (which I of course fell in love with, who wouldn't with those windows and the spiral staircase?) Anyway I definitly reccomend going back and giving them another shot, just call ahead and see if she will be there.

I've been here for three years now and the story nbcheri shared with us is unforntunately true. What you get done around here depends on who you talk to and how they are feeling that day. And none of the full time ladies in the office are in their early, early twenties. They have had temps in the office which is a real pain because they generally do not know what they are doing but at least know enough to be nice to "future" residents!
