Can't Wait to Move!

I have been trying to move out of this complex since the first year I was here, but due to circumstances at the time I unforunately had to renew my lease. This year, however, I am moving out! Horray!!! Management doesn't do what they say they will, maintenance around here stinks! You have to wait weeks and yes, sometimes months just to get anything done around here. Although I still have issues with one of my windows and I called the work order in on it in 2007! I get notes on my door saying that someone will come by to make repairs but of course no one ever does. The mold is absolutely unbelievable in this place and nothing is ever done about that either, but what to expect from low income housing' They simply don't care! And mold is another serious issue! People get sick from breathing the stuff and can develope breathing problems! The noise here is horrible. Walls are paper thin and then there is the fire alarm issue!!! Someone runs around here pulling the fire alarm at all hours of the night! I have an infant child and do not have time to be playing games with the immature, white trash folks around here! In some cases the alarm pulling was an immature adult high on drugs (he was arrested) and other cases are teenage kids. In 2007 I was leaving my apartment one morning to find the police chasing some half naked guy running down the hall! I have never been so happy to move in my life! Also in 2007 a guy was beat to within an inch of his life in broad daylight. I most definitely DO NOT recommend this place to anyone! But if you read this and do not follow advisements then keep in mind that the apartment lofts are hard to heat in winter due to the cold hard floors and drafty windows.

Thank you for your post. I've been thinking about moving there in Feb and I have two children. This doesnt sound like such a good idea after all.

ugh i hate it here! the police are here every other day over the stupidest of stupid things and people are ALL up in each others business.. The apartmernt manager somehow knows EVERYONES business and gossips to random people so youre business is just floating in the street for any and everybody. This place is a joke! you cant hardly breathe in your own apartment for fear of the police being called for noise ordinance... its crazy i cant wait to move either!

The property manager, Aaron, lives here at the lofts in the "A" building on the second floor. And he does talk about everyone's business to anyone who will listen! He's talked to me about some folks here. He's a gossip queen. Very unprofessional! I've heard that the assistant property manager, Cindy, also lives here in the "C" building. Them living here does not help much now does it? So, I honestly do not see the point in their residence.

Is it still under the same management company? It's really interesting that both managers have changed since I lived there but the old managements unprofessional, possibly illegal, catty, back-stabbing drama-queen attitude lives on. Way to change water to water in the hopes that it can now run the TV.
