I have lived in Hickory Knoll going on two years. The first summer it was nice and quiet. Of course we had the swimming pool then. This summer it was only open two days on Labor Day Weekend. This left the kids with nothing to do, but start fights and constantly get into trouble. Now, the playground has even been condemned and the kids are constantly screamed at by management even though there is no sign to keep people out. When complaining to management we do not get results. They don't seem to want to bother with it. They will jump on evicting someone who falls on hard times and needs to pay their rent late, but will not evict someone who has been fighting constantly even though they know who the people are. It seems like they would rather keep someone they don't get complaints on that are willing to pay a late fee than to keep the ones who go around fighting all the time. The kids are screamed at so badly by the management and constantly threatening to have the law called to them, that they are scared to death. I would not recommend Hickory Knoll Apartments to anyone, especially someone with children.
