I moved out of Laurels a few months ago. When I moved in, the complex was new and problems where few and fixed quickly. Since then, the management has changed hands SEVERAL times. I honestly never knew who I would see in the office. (Concerning the office- once they changed it ALL into a daycare. And then under new management they tried to witness to me!) I used to hear gunshots all of the time. The boy who lived under me was sent to the hospital after he was jumped in the parking lot. Children as young as toddlers are playing (unsupervised) in the parking lot at all times. Animal feces and urine was always in the stairwells. It's also right next to a large lot that is (for some unknown reason) covered in black and blue plastic tarps- GREAT VIEWS!!! The trash overflows from the compactor (which doesn't work most of the time). Our toilet would flood and leaned at an angle that made us and our guests sure that it was going to fall through the floor any day. Not to mention that Canton is in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!!! Don't move here. Just don't.
