Whatever you do, don't expect your deposit back, you won't get it. We paid for 18 months like clock work. We made a last payment for utilities (which are extremely high)and three days rent for October 1-3, 2009. We were told everything was fine and we would get a deposit check in the mail. We got something in the mail allright, a bill. The manager had sent us a bill with an estimated price to replace the carpet and a rent charge for October 1-3, 2009, we had already paid the rent and have the cancelled check. We called and distibuted the amount. We were actually told by the manager that the October 1-3, 2009 rent charge we paid was a different October 1-3 rent charge then she had billed....what, she said we would have to see her ledger to understand the posting. After the maintenance man checked the carpet we would be contacted. We of course asked to be involved in that process as we left the unit spotless. We did not hear from them for over three weeks, we when did, we got a final bill in the mail, deducting our deposit against a charge for brand new carpet throughout the unit and the same three days of rent we had already paid. Now we can't get any one in the coporate office to talk to us. Want to call Atlanta Channel 2 news or something, they flat just took our money!

I also had a similar thing happen..She showed me the ledger and explained it to me but what a rip off!
