Apt life sucks. These apts are fairly decent but no apt is sound proof and the neighbors who just moved in upstairs prove that.

They walk continously-or dance, I can't figure that part out. I once heard them sneeze and occasionally can hear their tv. Sometimes the walls shakes when they stomp thru their apt.

The neighbors next door (by walls not doors), the guy they is a bum and doesn't work. During the day he sometimes opens his patio door and plays the radio so everyone can hear it. There goes having a nice breeze from the exhaust of the speeding cars come in thru my patio door, now closed.

I am sad that Liz, the apt manager left. The other woman is short with you and even though she may be the nicest woman in the world every time I talk with her she sounds like she is disgusted with the world and her job. The leasing agents are helpful when they can be but because they are always new they do not know much so they never have an answer to any question you ask them. And if they say they will call back or have the manager call back, never ever believe them!

It is supposed to be a gated community. Well, it isn't because the gate is ALWAYS broken.

Construction is a laugh. We have huge cracks in the walls around the doors and windows. Ants can walk thru the gapes in the seals of the windows. The patio door does not close properly so in the winter the cold air seeps thru and the summer the heat comes thru.
The layout is fine for the 2 bds, although why on earth did they put the computer 'nook' right in front of the patio door is beyond me.

Dishwasher is loud as hell. The bottom draw of the stove falls of the rollers every single time you close it. Fire alarm goes off when you boil water. You look at the window blinds and they break. We don't open/use the blinds and we've had to replace nearly all of them because they have broken.

Our favorite neighbors moved after their lease was up. Apparently management decided to favor new-comers with a better deal for moving in than for the current residents for staying another year.

We are definately going to move after our lease is up, if we last that long. Other than that.... uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
