Walden Crossing

I previously lived in Walden Crossing (WC) for almost three years and found the experience most enjoyable. Yes, as with most apartments, I did hear my neighbors on occassion (especially their dog locked in the bathroom (I think) during the day). And at times, my neighbors did not consider anyone else but them (ie drinking and talking loud on the deck at all hours of the night - mostly weekends). I should have recipiated as I am a very early riser.

I found the staff most helpful, a bit too much to the letter of the law (so to speak), but I believe trying to look out for the best interest of the residents. Can't say the say about the Property Management Company as yes, some of their brillant ideas were less than steller.

I never had a problem with the maintenance staff as they were very courtious, mostly responded timely, and fixed everything right the first time.

The only real headache I had was the fact that they could not keep the gate properly maintaned such that it didn't work most of the time. Also, the local ya'hoos couldn't keep from tearing down the gate barrier. And in most cases, it took a bit of time before it was replaced.

I am looking forward to moving in there once again next month.
