Carrollton Place Apartments is the worst apartment Complex at the Univ of West Georgia. In fact, perhaps Carrollton. The grounds are never taken care of, and are littered with the trash. Inside the actual building halls, there is trash that will not be picked up for weeks, and the community does little to enforce these rules on littering, etc. The maintance sucks, and they have a don't care attitude about any and everything. The Management is terrible, and are incredibly rude and have little communication skills on how to talk to residents. It seems as though all the Drug Dealers who attend West Georgia choose to do business at Carrollton Place, making Carrollton Place the Apartment Complex for drug traffickig, and much crime. There's been many time when I see drug deals take place, and hear gun shots late at night. Not to mention the numerous parties that go on every Thursday- Saturday usually in building 700 or 200.
When I moved in, the apartment complex was so poorly managed that they decided to switch in the middle of the year from Place Properties to Allen O'Hara. The model is nothing like your apartment. The Kitchen tile is old, carpet is filthy, and the furniture is extremely old, and torn-up. The beds are very low to the ground and the management will not allow you to purchase bed risers, but instead tell you to just simply buy an extra mattress. You can smell sewage through the sinks and toilets as well... I would definetly recommend if you attend UWG to live at the Quads of Grove b/c this crap is ridiculous!
