I signed a 9 month lease in these apartments and it was the worst mistake of my life. There were so many roaches, i was afraid when i went to class one day one would come crawling out of back pocket or something. I called for pest control everyday until i just tracked down the Orkin man myself. Whenever he came to my apt he did the same thing and it never helped. He said that they were German cockaroaches that had 16 roaches per egg. Then the big ones that came out at night laid 8 per case. They were HUGE. They were in the coach and under the rugs. I'm about to cry thinking about this. Overall, I would have rather lived outside under a tree in a cardboard box and paid $425/mo for it. Oh and the maintenance people were terrible also, the never gave u a time they were coming they just came and when u werent there its like they trashed ur apt, they tracked mud and dirt thru the rooms on the carpet, whatever mess they made they left it there. If the sewage came up while they were fixing something with the water they left the filth right there in ur tub, sink or floor. It was really gross. One day I came home between classes and between the walkway and patio of my apt was a huge puddle of water with feices.... (oh my Goodness, i think Im gonna die thinking about this)and condoms! According to them, maintenance had been there earlier tha morning to unclog my neighbors sewage b/c his toilet was backed up and when the pumped it it had pumped outside between both of our apts. This was the most disgusting thing i'd ever seen. Dovey was the manager at the time, dont kno if she still is, but she acted like she never cared. Biggest regret of my life was moving into Chateau Apts.
