I agree with the other past residents of the Grove. I lived there the first year it was open and the place was a joke. The price was very reasonable but many people didn't even have doors on their kitchen cupboards, the carpet was so dirty it would turn your socks black even if you repeatedly vacuumed it. The bedroom and bathrooms were tiny expecially compared to other apartment complexes. The staff was rude and never cooperative, 6 out of the 12 months I lived there after paying the rent they would send me a notice of late rent and I would have to bring my reciept or cancelled check down there to prove it to them and never got so much as an apology. The three people that lived above us were so loud we had to call the police 3 times and after meeting with them and the Grove staff nothing was resolved other than 2 of them threatening to "kick my ***" while the apartment manager stood by and did nothing. The complex is built on a swamp which smells terrible 24/7 and one maintenance crew even told us the buildings were sinking because the ground was so soft. I would NEVER EVER recommend this place to anyone and have convinced potential customers to choose another place to live....this is the WORST place to live in Carrollton.
