I lived here for a year and a half and have no huge complaints. Let me list some good and bad things about the place to give you an idea. Compared to the other apartment complexes in Cartersville, you won't find any nicer besides Avonlea, which is a bit more, but may be worth it.

Good Things:
1. They keep the grounds clean, and can tell they actually care about the upkeep.
2. They keep their pool open all year and it is ALWAYS clean!!!
3. Gated community (Gate gets torn off by residents alot though)
4. Friendly community and staff
5. Garden Bathtub
6. Good Size apartment
7. Workout Center and Laundry Facility open all night
8. Organized Complex parties to socialize with the other residents and win the cheesy prizes

Bad Things:
1. Management will keep increasing your rent ($30-$60 everytime you resign your lease) untill the day you leave. Beware of the 2 month notice as well....just know what you're getting into upfront.
2. They allow dogs which can be a problem. My upstairs neighbor had a HUGE pitbull for "personal protection" (when we live in a gated community in the quiet little town of Cartersville where nothing ever happens...Ok buddy) which never stopped barking to the point where I had to keep complaining until he got rid of it.
3. I had another neighbor that was a drugdealer and got arrested late one night. Also heard about a few other domestic incidents, but that is all hearsay.
4. I never had any problems with bugs really except if I let them in with me.
5. Parking is definitely an issue. They will tow your car if it doesn't have the sticker on it.
6. I recommend getting the top floor unless you don't mind the sound of people walking over your head all day. The floors don't insulate very well.


This is a great place to stay for a short amount of time, but because of rent increases it is not practical if you are looking for a long term residency...stay here until you find that perfect house in Cartersville!!! Cartersville is a great place to live and is really growing!
