This complex does have some issues, mainly maintenance and upkeep/cleanliness.
The common areas are not kept clean or are cleaned infrequently and common upkeep items have to be reported to the office, instead of being done on a regular basis.

Because of the cheap construction, maintenance has to be called regularly to fix basic items. These calls would be unnecessary had the items been installed correctly in the first place or higher quality materials had been used in the construction.

There are also constant problems with the security gates being broken. Most people move into a gated community for the security of the gates, and when they are broken, anyone can walk or drive in. The staff does try to get them fixed quickly, but it's an ongoing problem.

And yes, there are issues with noise from other tenants, but again, this is a result of the cheap construction. It's easier to just talk to the neighbors you're having problems with and make them aware of the noise.

In spite of these issues, the staff in the office do make a good effort to resolve the problems they can address. I believe they really do try to make the tenants happy.

One of the problems is not enough staff -- both maintenance and front office -- to handle to number of tenants in the complex.

The price for the units though, are very good, compared to other complexes with similar amenities. I did not find any other complexes that were as nice and affordable as Jefferson at Peachtree.

Even though I am aware of these problems now, I would still move in today because the overall value and atmosphere at Jefferson is good and most of the tenants are nice, courteous, and professional people.

My recommendation: shop around and make your decision based on what you see, the helpfulness of the staff, the comments you see here, and the price of rent you will be paying.
