Live here only if you would like to be shot at, held at gunpoint, your apartment robbed, your car stolen or your car broken into... seriously, all of these things happened. I feel completely unsafe and I should seeing everything that has happened and no one did anything about it. Please do not live here!!!

I have lived at the Promenade for almost two years now and it has gone downhill fast in the last 6 months. I feel unsafe calling this place home and am fearful that my car may not be in the parking lot when I need to go somewhere. The office is doing nothing to curb the rise in vandalism and malicious acts, yet they harp about stupid satellite dishes being an eye-sore. Do yourself a favor and move somehwere else.

What this person writes is true and makes it sound as if we are living in the ghetto! I pay TOO MUCH for my apartment here to live in a ghetto.

I Love my apartment and the staff at the office. Why do you only post when something bad happens. We are lucky we are being informed of the things going on and not being left in the dark. What about a sence of community, do you even know your neighbors, have you made an effort to introduce yourself to your neighbor? Have you made an effort to come up with a solution?

I too have lived here for 4 years and love the office staff and the community. I believe that there are over 400 apartments here which would mean that there are has to be at least 1000 people living here. With that in mind, the percentage of crimes that have occur here are at a minimum. You cannot expect to live in a crime free world, this is Atlanta, come on!! There are over 5 million people here and still growing. We have chosen to live in a big city with big city crime. We as residents need to be cautious and careful, EVERYWHERE we go. Including those living in million dollar neighborhoods who make million dollar security measures and still have their million dollar worth of merchandise stolen, their wifes raped and their children beaten.

Bravo, another person excusing the actions that have occurred in the apartment community!!! This wonderful staff that you speak of took 4 days to let us know that a woman had been held at gunpoint and forced into her apartment where a guy tied her up and robbed her.... 4 DAYS!!! And not only that, there was a shooting in front of the office that the staff chose not to inform us about!

I just found out about this website and this has been very interesting reading. I stay very aware of my surroundings and don't expect anyone, especially the staff at Promenade to protect me. That's my responsibility. Some of you act as though they are our security, and how would that have mattered if they told us about the robbing one day or two days it doesn't erase the fact that it happened. I wouldn't go as far as saying I love the staff, but they seem to have been very honest to me when I questioned what happened. Go buy a house and pray that no crime happens in your community.

Anyone who has posted a response to this review and is in favor of Promenade, you are either A). An employee of Promenade/This is the most likely answer B). A fifth grader with no common sense C). Some huge massive body builder because no one wants to rob, shoot or steal from you or D). Just plain naive.... Just because we live in a big city DOES NOT, LET ME REPEAT DOES NOT! give the apartment complex the right to do nothing. The people who write in bad comments only do so because the mgmt. staff DOES NOTHING to prevent bad things from happening. The reason I chose to write in is so that maybe a perspective renter will see this stuff and know what REALLY goes on here. I highly doubt that during a trip around the complex ANY mgmt. staff member would dare say what all happens here. This place should be ashamed of it self and I cannot wait to get out of here because I know that even if I lived in Compton, CA in a house painted with rebel flags I would be safer than I am here. I feel sorry for the next person who comes in here and signs a lease, espcially if they don't own a gun or a bullet proof vest !!!!

OMG! I am a prospective renter. I am supposed to move in the Promenade on the 1st of October, but the postings for this place is Horrifying. . . I am a single female with a night job, so safety is very important to me. I need to be safe. Thanks guys, I will continue looking. UGH! This place seemed so perfect on my visit. I never knew all these terrible things could be going on here.
