I have been contacted by an attorney who represents the widow of a cab driver who was shot to death in his car at Alden Ridge and who also represents a tenant who was raped in her apartment at Alden Ridge. He has asked me to post this message to request that any current or former tenants of Alden Ridge who lived there in 2007 or 2008, and any former employees who worked there during those years contact his office. My understanding is that he is attempting to gather information about other incidents that may have occurred on the property during those years and is also trying to learn more about the names and whereabouts of people who worked there during those years.

you are absolutely right! i have lived at this complex since september 2007 and they are terrible. there have been at least 3 property managers since i moved in and constant turnover in staff. their record-keeping is poor (tenants often receive late rent notices even when rent has been paid early), the security gate has never worked - we do not even have access cards for it, the property has litter on the ground and the neighbors are noisy and people let their dogs run around without leashes. God help you if you have a maintenance issue! The response time and skill level of on-site maintenance is unacceptable. And, when I moved into my apartment, it was filthy. I have to hire a cleaning company to clean it before i moved in and made alden ridge pay for it. Don't be lured by the low rent like I was...you get even less than what you pay for here.

This place was truly a hell hole!! From police raids, gangs writing, bad ass kids dumping trash in the water way, no management team or maintinence staff, home invasions, murders, rape, raw sewage, broken windows, hoe house, pimps, drug dealer, and all them damn catssssssss. Keep your credit score above 600 and live some place you can call home for a while.
