I move here in 2007, I lived next to the office. It seem to be good at first, until in Oct. of 2007, someone tried to enter my apartment for a home invasion. I should nave moved then but they gave me a better deal in the back of the property. It is like HELL back here now. Please don't just believe me see it for yourself, come a walk around here. Its like a Third World Country and the Apt. Management have abandon this place. Some good people still pay rent here and it should not be like this HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Your apartment is owned by Bethany Group and they are letting all the apartments run down because I lived in one of their complexes and they told me they "ran out of money". Please report these conditions to the county because it is unsafe to live. Dekalb county housing authority 404-270-2500 Housing Authority of DeKalb County 750 Commerce Drive Suite 201 Decatur, Georgia 30030 Put everything in writing and send copies of all photos..they should come out and take a look... Another option is to move - there are beautiful communities outside of clarkston. You do not have to stay there. Look around on Rentmoney.com and you will see rental rates in the same range as clarkston in all of Gwinnett county. I wish you the best of luck!

I would like to Thank You; for your response and help with Dekalb Housing Authority. It has been advised that a bank now control the property and what this means I do not know???? I am out of were by the first of April to Norcross, GA.

Alden Ridge is a joke! There have been at least three shootouts in broad daylight in the last two years. At leasr 3 killed. The maintenance sucks. The office staff is rude and incompetent. All they care about is the rent. I hate this dump and will be out of here at the end of May! Don"t move here or you will regret it for everyday of your stay here. You have a great chance of getting shot at Alden Ridge than in the streets. They have a so-called new mgt team and believe me when I say its business as usual. They suck too!
