Don't do it. Our entire apartment building burned down exactly two weeks after we moved to Georgia. Neighbors had been complaining about gas leaks and nothing was done. There was a hissing and explosion before the fire began but Lakeshore denies its related to gas. A neighbor's son died in the fire. We have yet to receive anything from Lakeshore. They moved us into a dirty unfinished apartment to keep us off the street. Since then, we have had nothing, NOTHING, but problems. Maintenance sucks, customer service sucks, courtesy patrol officers look like they will rob you any minute, and I cannot wait to move out! PLEASE PLEASE don't do it to yourself. I know the cheap rent looks attractive but trust me, you WILL get what you pay for and thats not much at this place!Oh by the way, don't get excited if you meet a polite staff member in the leasing office. They will not be there long. We have seen a total of at least 6 staff members come and go since we moved there in 2007. Everytime we go in the office to pay rent, there is someone new and an old person gone. There is literally not one person still working there that was there when we first moved in-NOT EVEN THE MANAGER.

Its unfortunate that someone would intenionally lie about lakeshore apartments. Yes, there was a fire but no one had a scratch on them let alone died (you should be shame). The staff was great, everyone was relocated that same day. If you say that you just relcated 2 weeks ago, how is it that you have been there since 2007? Who ever posted this should be ashame. Lakeshore is a great place to live, accidents happen.

first of all, who are you? maybe you are talking about the fire that happened recently. i am talking about the fire that burned down building 33 in may 2007. when i referred to two weeks, i was talking about moving to GA in lakeshore apartments in early may 2007 and the fire took place exactly two weeks later. and yes, a young boy (9 years old) passed away in the fire. why would i lie about a child dying? if you just moved to lakeshore or are considering moving there, please do your research and ask the office staff or request a fire report down the street on east ponce. have you ever noticed that the complex is old but that building 33 is brand new? the fire that just happened was the second in two years. feel free to call ventron management as well about the history of apartment fires there.
