I recently moved into these apartments and now I'm praying for a miracle to help me move out! These people are the most unprofessional, ignorant, rediculous, and misleading bunch of folks I have ever met! They contradict their lease, they never keep their promises, they have extremely poor response time, and they obviously are not familiar with state laws/codes. They fired the leasing agent who moved me in and made me move to another apartment because he didn't do his job right. How is that my fault' Now my four year old daughter can not even go outside and play because dead bodies are constantly being found and gangsters are always outside selling drugs and shooting their guns. I am terrified of leaving my house alone especially at night. The floors and ceilings are falling in and no one, after a month, has even come out to inspect the damages; but please believe me- you better pay your rent on time! Even though they expect you to live in an unsafe,unhealthy environment, they want their money! And if you don't pay it on time, they charge $200 late fees plus your rent goes up $200! So instead of paying $499 plus late fees, they want you to pay them $699 plus the $200 late fee equaling $899! Show me one apartment over there that is even worth $899! This is the biggest mistake I ever made! I suggest to anyone that is considering moving into these apartments that you check Clarkston police records in reference to the violent activity and also keep a gun close to your side whenever you are at home becuase there's no telling when some gangster is gonna invade your home or try to rob you!

You are absolutely right. My home was burgularized with no forced ENTRY. SO IT WAS THE MAINTENANCE MAN.I found out that no one gets their back door key when they move in. The police made them change my locks and give me some new keys. I also have a hole in my ceiling that leaks whenever I drain my bathtub. This has been going on for months and they will not fix it. This is the second time my home has been invaded. I was to break my lease. I do not feel safe. Also since they took the carpet up in my house I have super roaches. Also the apartment next to me has been burned down before I even moved in which is going on two years. This is the worst living experience ever. They lie about coming to fix things and the rental property manager who lied about all the major improvements the complex would make has in fact been fired!

If either of you would like, I own a condo in Stone Mountain off Hambrick Road, in Windchase Condominiums. It is a 2BR/2BA and is currently empty. Right now, I need to replace the flooring and have a little plumbing work done (I'm meeting a plumber tomorrow morning), but other than that it has fresh paint and will be ready to go. I use to live there and got out of my lease by tell them that I was going to get in touch with Code Enforcement about the many many hazards with these apartments,tell them that and if necessary do contact the code enforcement. Good Luck!
