Good for now but not long term!

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
I have lived here for the past 2 years. Moving in was a good idea I thought. Within the first 2 weeks of living here management changed. We did encounter a heavy bug problem in the beginning which was not completely taken care of until 3 months after we had moved in.
The apartment under us was empty for most of the first year. Once the new tenants moved in we started experiencing a huge problem within the dryer area. Every time the tenants underneath us start their dryer the air comes out of our pipes and into the apartment along with their lint. This issue has been going on for the last year and the leasing office has been aware of this, they have tried but not hard enough.
Within the first 3 months of knowing this they had 3 different people come to look at the problem but never notified us of their findings just that they did not know what was the problem.
The person who said that they were going to return to repair the piece of wall that they had removed has never been back and that was 9 months ago.
Last month they had a company come out to clean the vents and this has still not lifted the issue.
This is hard to deal with due to the tenants underneath us washing a drying their clothes everyday "not exaggerating" and I am unable to use my dryer when needed. This situation causes for us to pay more for A/C in the summer as I have had to unhook my dryer so it will not break due to the hot air!
We also had several issues with getting maintenance out for simple things sometimes it can take 3 days before a issue can be resolved.
As far as the Gas company goes. They have a contract with Gas Key and they are horrible. They switched us without giving us an option from GA natural gas. But from what I understand you are now able to choose your own provider.
From about December of 07 to the end of Jan 08 they had a security company at the gate throughout the night. I was really pleased once this happened as we have had issues with younger people walking through the complex at night, a couple of car break inns and some apartment break inns. Unfortunately I found out the only reason they had this was because they were trying to sell the complex. And one day security just disappeared.
Overall the neighborhood is decent and I must agree with others that it is very quite here.
