I have been living in these apartments for six months now. This was my worst rental experience ever. When I first moved in, my unit was infested with ---- roaches and roaches, spiders, centipedes and etc: made you sick to your stomach. Therefore, make sure you bomb before you move in because pest control doesn t work. However, this won t help stop the bugs from coming around, but only get them under control. Next, my hot water tank wasn t working properly. Maintenance tried to fix the hot water tank (old and rusty) about four times before they replace it with a new one. The living room carpet had stains, they had spot painted and plumbing is bad. Make sure that you do a walk through the apartment before you sign your lease, because if you still have problems with the apartment, some problems will get solved and some will not. Last, my unit was broken into through the patio door (took it right off the track). New management (JMG(5-1-09) not Miles Property anymore) would not break my lease, yet told me I would have to break it. Therefore, I feel they are only concerned about making money, not safety. Oh, be careful if you have a car, that will get stolen too. This is a very dangerous complex: someone was shot out here two months ago. The prices and special are very enticing, but don t get sucker into moving out here. My lease is up in a couple more months; I am moving to a safer environment. In addition, the airplanes, high volume of traffic, individuals hanging around the mail boxes and loud music (in cars) become a nuisance. Good Luck with New Management and watch out for hidden clauses in your Lease!!!
