This apartment complex looks nice from afar. The apartment itself is comfortable, spacious and well equipped. They supply you with washer and dryers in each unit, which is pretty cool for those of us who don't have one of our own. With this being said, there are more on the negative side than positives, the carpet is very cheap it sheds a whole lot and it balls up when you vacuum causing you to damage your vacuum. The property has a huge mosquito, fly and gnat problem... I will say it would have to be due to the huge holes left on the grass that looks as if they previously removed large trees. These holes constantly stay filled with muddy waters about 2 ft deep which is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. There are little pools of water along the sidewalk that stay with nasty flies and as you walk from one building to the next you MUST cover your face to keep the army of gnats flying throughout the air out of your nose and mouth. Oh and don t even get me started on the dog ----, everywhere absolutely everywhere. The breeze ways on each landing as well as the stairs are filthy there are cob-webs inches thick carrying all types of debris. It is so disgusting to see that a place that looks so inviting from afar can coax you to move in only to want to move out. It is a gated community yet the gates never close. Management what can I say about management. If you can t say anything nice don t say anything at all

There haven't been any bug problems since I've been here...and I've been here a while now. The pest control does a great job, and management is on top of things.

We had a spider problem and those little pincher bugs...other than that I never saw a roach or anything else. Also, I think the gnats are just a part of the GA atmosphere. I will have to agree with the trash under the breezeway and such...its gross. I think the maintenence man is doing the best he can since he is the only one working all the time. They need to get that poor man some help rather than working him to death. On a side note...the management does suck. I hope you are able to move out soon.

The apartment itself is nice and comfortable however, the manager is mean and rude. The Brighton Park staff lied to me and my roommate twice and they have treated us as if we are low rent renters. I have it on good authority from someone who worked in the office that the owner of this complex owns a lot of complexes and this one and one other are the only 2 that are not low rent which is why the management acts like this is the military. I would NOT recommend thos cheaply made but beautiful apartment to anyone.
