I'm so fed up with the -------- from this place. Don't get me wrong, the apartments are nice,for the most part. The carpet drives me crazy 'cause it sheds so much and the tile is really cheap, but it is spacious. It isn't, however, worth the rent every month. The staff here drives me crazy, to top it off.
I've heard of some people having problems with maintenance, but I've never had an issue with Patrick--and thats pretty much the entire maintenance staff right there--one person. He's always been so polite to us and very on top of things. It's not his fault that he's jerked all over the place and he's basically one man taking care of everybody.
I recently went to sit with a friend's kids for a little while so she could pick her daughter up from school and never realized (Im on the top floor) how insanely noisy it is if you're on a ground floor apartment. It was horrible! Just some one walking across the floor in the apartment above sounded like a stampede. You could hear everything! For example, I could tell anytime she turned on the sink or opened a cabinet door--the really bad thing, is she was just cleaning the apartment. She wasn't an actual tenant, she was just preparing for some one to move in there.
Being on the top level, we don't have to deal with TOO much noise,but we still hear quite a bit from the people across from us and whoever loves to slam their door so much in our building.
I would absolutely love to move, but we haven't found anywhere else to go and don't really have the money to get out of here yet.

Well I definitely agree with you and the top level apartments. Our neighbors above us are either doing exercises, having sex, or bowling above us. I think they have sex in the dining area and living room because one particular spot squeaks. I mean use the bedroom. Not only that but they got into a fight one night and I had to call the police on them because you can hear thing being thrown across the apartment doors slamming and this was at midnight, and we have reported them about the loud noises at 3 am in the morning. Thankfully I work nights because if I didnt I would have to make myself known to them and it wouldnt be a pretty picture.
