apartment security problems

i am more concerned about security problems at this place like other day some body broke in to car...and friends at work were not really sure about what to do make residence and car safer. can't wait to get out of this place though...if some one has any idea what should i do to handle it till i finish my lease, write to me at dbmanager@hotmail.com
